Nigeria’s youngest commissioner Mark Okoye has been sworn in by the Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano. The 30-year-old becomes the youngest commissioner in Nigeria.
Mark Okoye II, flanked by his wife, was inaugurated on Monday as the Honourable Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget and Development Partners at the Executive Council Chamber of Anambra State.
Prior to his current role, he served in his current capacity for twenty months during the last administration as Special Adviser to the Governor on Economic Planning and budget.
He holds a B.Sc. Finance from the prestigious George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA.
