Ghanaian Catholic Priest, Rev. Dominic Yamoah Suspended After Being Arrested in the U.S for For Prostitution

Rev. Dominic Yamoah, 40, was arrested on Saturday morning after undercover source investigating prostitution solicitors arrested Yamoah after he allegedly tried to persuade one of them to perform sexual acts for money.” 

Fremont County Sheriff’s deputies arrested him and he now faces solicitation charges.

Yamoah serves as a priest at the St. Clare Parish in Clarinda and St. Joseph Parish in Villisca. Roman Catholic officials say he has now been suspended from public ministry after discussing his arrest on Saturday in Hamburg with Bishop Richard Pates. A statement released says Yamoah very sincerely regrets his actions.
