A power supply company executive accidentally broadcast himself having sex with a junior employee when he forgot to hang up on a video conference call he had made earlier.
In the heat of the moment, the manager at China Southern Power Grid in Guangzhou forgot to end the call and was seen having sex on the boardroom table with the lady, according to a post on Chinese social media and reported by Metro.
He had allegedly just finished a conference call with five other stations across China when he decided to have some downtime.
Footage of the affair was leaked online, but it has since been wiped by government censors.
The incident has also led to two employees at the station being arrested for spreading ‘false rumours’ after they allegedly posted the clip online.
The employees — a man surnamed Tang and a woman surnamed Wang — were also charged with defamation of character by police in Guangzhou, capital of South China’s Guangdong Province.
China Southern Power Grid, which is one of two state-owned power providers, is pressing charges against Tang and Wang, both 30, who have since admitted to spreading the rumours online.
